Travel inherently involves risks.
Place information, opening hours, prices, routes, road conditions, business information, estimated travel times, availability, recommendations, accessibility information, weather-related information, and other travel information may change.
You are responsible for confirming important information directly with the appropriate business, transportation provider, government authority, or other source before relying on it.
You are also responsible for complying with:
- traffic laws;

5. Maps, Places and Third-Party Information
TripSatchel may display information provided by Apple Maps, MapKit, third-party data providers, businesses, users, public sources, or other services.
We do not guarantee that third-party information is complete, current, accurate, or error-free.
A place appearing on TripSatchel does not mean that TripSatchel owns, operates, endorses, or has independently inspected that location.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Artificial Intelligence Features
TripSatchel may use artificial intelligence to help generate trip suggestions, itineraries, place descriptions, answers, recommendations, route ideas, or other content.
AI-generated information may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your circumstances.
You should independently verify important information before acting on an AI-generated recommendation.
You understand that AI-generated suggestions are recommendations only and are not guarantees regarding safety, availability, pricing, operating hours, quality, legality, or suitability.

- other materials.
You retain ownership of the User Content you own.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to upload or share your User Content.
8. Licence You Give TripSatchel
By making User Content available through TripSatchel, you grant TripSatchel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, format, resize, encode, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and provide the Service.
For content you choose to make public, this licence also allows us to display and distribute that content through TripSatchel to other users.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your User Content to TripSatchel.
The licence ends when your content is deleted from our active systems, except where:

You control certain sharing settings within TripSatchel.
Content designated as public may be viewed, shared, saved, or interacted with by other users.
You should not publish information you do not want others to see.
Private messages and privately shared itineraries are intended for the users participating in those interactions. However, recipients may be able to copy, screenshot, forward, or otherwise preserve information you send to them.
TripSatchel cannot control what another person does with information after you voluntarily share it with that person.
10. Collaborative Trips
TripSatchel may allow you to invite other users to view or collaborate on a trip or itinerary.
The person sharing an itinerary may be able to grant editing permission to another user.
If you receive editing access, you agree to use it responsibly and only for the purpose for which access was granted.
Changes made by collaborators may affect the shared itinerary for other participants.
TripSatchel is not responsible for disagreements between users regarding collaborative trips.

Your notice should include enough information for us to identify the work, identify the allegedly infringing content, contact you, and understand the basis of your complaint.
We may remove or restrict access to content while investigating a complaint.
17. Feedback

This does not give us ownership of your unrelated User Content.
18. Paid Features
TripSatchel may offer paid products, subscriptions, or features in the future.
Where purchases are made through Apple's App Store, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing may also be governed by Apple's applicable terms and rules.
Any applicable price and recurring billing terms will be presented before you complete a purchase.
19. Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using TripSatchel at any time.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to TripSatchel if we reasonably believe that:
- you materially or repeatedly violated these Terms;
- your account creates a safety or security risk;
- you engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct;
- we are required to do so by law;
- your account is being used without authorization; or
- continued access could cause substantial harm to TripSatchel, its users, or another person.
Where reasonable and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal a moderation decision.
Certain serious violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
20. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your TripSatchel account using the account-deletion functionality provided in the app or by contacting us where necessary.
Account deletion may result in permanent loss of your profile, saved information, uploaded content, trips, messages, and other account information.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups or may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain legitimate business records.
Information that another user independently retains, such as messages sent to them or content they saved outside TripSatchel, may remain outside our control.
21. Service Availability
We aim to keep TripSatchel available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
TripSatchel may occasionally experience:
- maintenance;

We do not guarantee that every recommendation, route, location, business listing, user post, AI response, itinerary, travel estimate, or other piece of information will be accurate, complete, current, safe, or appropriate for you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, statutory rights, or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

24. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
By using TripSatchel, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review that policy.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to TripSatchel, applicable law, security practices, or our business.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by law.
The date at the top of these Terms identifies the most recent version.
Your continued use of TripSatchel after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Where applicable law requires separate consent to a change, we will request that consent.
26. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under consumer-protection or other applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or TripSatchel may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction in Quebec.
